Zone Labs is awesome and they will tell you if you need to disable the windows firewall or not after you download it.

You MUST know this though, that you can ONLY REMOVE Zone Labs in SAFE MODE,not normal mode

I do now however,advise ANYONE to use Windows LIve Care.

Can't go wrong there!!! Everything is covered and it even teaches you how to back up ure things and reminds

you to,as well. This is good for me,as I tend to forget to maintian my pc. It's been a godsend to me since I had it.

p.s i dont have zone alarm on my forum|||100% better, windows only protects one way, zone alarm goes both ways,in-out. you will have to click on a banner to allow programs access to internet the first time but after that it wont ask as long as it is not a new program trying to accessthe net.it is realy easy to use and much safer than windows.|||You would be better off with a different firewall. Windows only monitors incoming traffic. You need one that monitors both way. I suggest Comodo firewall. It is free and very good. You can download it at....
