1). Male wearing a condom

2). Abstinence.

Okay, those weren't the answers you were looking for but in both of those cases you're not chemically altering your body rhythms.

3) Diaphragm. Won't affect the libido but from what a sister in law tells me, sort of a bother in the libidinous region to put in ahead of time and take out afterwards..

Bottom line, talk to a qualified woman's doctor, who can take into account your age, weight, etc. and make a more precise determination that should work for you. Ask which form of the pill/patch/impant etc. he/she recommends most.

Im so glad you asked this question! Im having a similar issue...Ive been on the patch...and I am currently on the shot! Yea I hate the shot too! The patch effected my libido..so eliminate that option! I got pregnant on the patch! Good Luck!|||You need a birth control method with less hormones. the shot has the most hormones which is what messes up your libido. Try the NuvaRing....I love it....
