since vista is not complete yet, but i really want to build a new pc, so can i get a window xp pro, and install on drive d, then wait for vista, and install it on drive c.

would that cause any problem, because wait for vista may take a little longer

Just stick with Windows XP for the next year or two and when it's time to switch to Vista reformat your hard drive completely.|||thats crazy! if your system is DELL then you dont need to do that because windows vista is already complete...|||i think u shud now install xp on c only and when u get vista upagrade it or install it in d ...but dual os system is a bit slower
