When I open my IE browsers, the fonts are always SMALL. How can I change the DEFAULT txt size?
I do realise that I can go to VIEW and select text size to a larger font. But I want a quick way to change the defaulted TXT size so that I don't need to re-do it every time I open a web browser. Can anyone help?

Do as you have been and close all of your IE windows.
Make sure that the text size it is set where you want on the LAST window you close. IE should now open at that last text size.
If you change it the text size again, and close that changed IE window last, it will save whatever size it was set to and screw you up again.
However, ff you change text size often, you can go in and add the text size item to your IE toolbar. That's a lot easier than going through the menus.
I'd also recommend at least trying Firefox, as you can set initial proportional and fixed font sizes to whatever font and size you want and choose whether or not use the destination's fonts or yours (if they are in conflict).
You can increase/decrease the size of ANY font. (Using control + or control - on the keypad or your choice of keys and the scroll wheel).
There are some fonts that IE will absolutely not let you resize - even to one of the (Gosh!) 5 font sizes you get to choose from.

Hold down the Ctrl button and at the same time use your mouse wheel. You will see the font get bigger and smaller. :)|||Two ways -
One, go to View ---> Text and change the setting to large or largest. This is from within IE.
Two, go to Tools ---> Options, and in the General tab, select Font, and choose your desired setting.
Cheers
