IE7 beta is notorious for having bugs. Report this problem to microsoft, and uninstall IE7, until a stable IE7 is released. I was having problems with outlook and computer freezin shortly after installing IE7. Uninstalling it made the problems disappear.

r|||i just fixed mine and heres whats causing it. im guessing you have a program called windowblinds installed in your comp thats whats causing it to fix it open up your windows blids app. then click per app and then click per app setting and find the yahoo app in the yahoo messenger folder in program files and chose it then click modify per app setting and check the fisrt box listed and apply then ok and your set
