Can "progressive eye glasses, ie, bifocals w/out the line make vision worse?

I feel like my left eye can't find any spot on the glasses that see clearly. How long does it take to get used to these things?

If you have had the glasses a week or more then I would go back to were you purchased them and have them checked. The bifocal should not interfere with your over all vision. You should not have blurred vision for the entire left lens. Is the right lens OK?

Consider the wrong lens was put in the frames,mistakes do happen occasionally. Good luck,don't put up with this,have it checked.
