Windows live messenger not on computer, (don't want it) messenger says it is?

i searched for it on my computer and it is not there. But when I added a new friend and tried to send an imvironment, nothing is there . you can't do anything on the page. just emotions, buzz and plug-ins my imvironment or anything else is not opened nor is the icons on the top, just plug-ins. you can't delete something from the computer if it's not there Why would messenger say it is there if the computer it's not. all the other people i im is fine just this one person.
