Windows Live Messenger won't open?

I have a Acer laptop and all of the sudden yesterday i exit my messenger by accident than when i clicked on the icon, i won't open. I tried reinstalling it, but still no difference. What should i do other than getting some other messenger?

I have the same problem since 2 days. But I don't have an Acer laptop.

I use a windows live messenger version taken from live.com ... new thing to install, etc. new damn thing that is not working well.

For me, it's working in the admin session but not in user (limited) session.
