Windows Live Messenger...?

I have mine set to display the song info of watever im listening to, but I have windows vista. It apparently doesnt use windows media player, but instead windows media CENTER... ???? i dont know why it makes a difference but it doesnt work. How can I get it to show the song info?

Which one is your default player. if its not coming up just play music on media center ( but that is strange usually when i play songs on both it shows up) check your settings?

I know there is a way that you can change the program that you're playing music through, so that it shows the track name etc. somewhere in the settings.. cause I have mine set to iTunes... although that is something that I changed in a wizard when I first downloaded the software.. not sure how to change it after that..
