I get windows popping up when I click a link etc. in IE. The blocker is on I've checked. Also when I want it off for certain sites I doesn't seem to remember the site.

OK there might be a number of reasons,

1. Do you have any toolbars like Yahoo with pop up blocker or google toolbar, McFee,Norton...because anything like that has its own pop up blocker can conflict with each other.

Remove any other toolbars by deselecting the toolbars in the list.

And if im right, if you are clicking on links that are under the same domain as the site which you clicked the link, it wont see it as an external threat.

And i think if YOU click on a link, it takes into considration that you have made judgement on the link to be safe.

And for you loosing your history, If older than IE 7, go to option, Advanced, deselect Empty temp internet files when you close browser.

If IE 7, i think you go to Tools, Clear Browsing History, And go through the setting buttons till you deselect Clear Browsing History when browser closes, or somthing similar.

Correct me if im wrong.
