My computer has been running really bad for a bit over a week. It keeps freezing ever time I use it. I've run virus scan and nothing is coming up. I have run spyware programs and the computer is clear. . When I check the Windows Task Manager the perfromance is at 100% with Internet Explorer taking up 99% of that. I know IE isn't supposed to take up 99% of the computer's memory. I've found nothing on-line and Microsoft if taking forever to get back to me. Anyone ever have this problem and know how to fix it?

Whatever you do, Don't get Mozilla Firefox. You will regret it.|||What antivirus and antispyware software have you run? It sounds like you still have something bad. Set view characteristics to view all files, hide nothing. Remove all restore points. Update all your AN and AS programs. boot into safe mode, run antivirus and anti spyware programs, reboot and turn on restore points.
