Ok, so my gawddamned MSN Messenger told me I HAD to switch to Windows Live Messenger. Problem is, I can only stay logged in for a grand total of 2 seconds before I see "Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close." WTF do I do?!?!?

Try to reinstall the program or repair windows installation by putting its installation cd at the cd drive and after it loads select the repair install option.

I think something might have corrupted the registry + more. 1.Try running "regclean" available at download.com and

2.then uninstall windows live messenger from control panel

3.manually detele the messenger folder. It should be somewhere in Program Files.

4. Now install new Live suite from windowslive.com
