hi ive installed windows live messenger,but i want to uninstall windows messenger,but i go to do that and press uninstall all i get is a white screen saying instalation wizard at the top ,i cant even get into my mail at hotmail that comes up white screen ,driving me mad ,its a used laptop,i installed firefox to c if it would help but it dosnt ,also when i try to enter my hotmail theres a yellow lock at the bottom on the page,thank u for any help.tom

msn must not be running to uninstall it, you must be signed out. to shut it down..right click on its icon in the taskbar bottom right and click EXIT|||go to START>>> SET PROGRAMS ACCESS AS DEFAULTS >>>ADD REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS|||first if you want to remove Windows Live Messenger,

you must make sure that the program is not running,

click on start

then click on the control panel,

when this opens, click on Add/Remove Programs Icon

when this opens scroll down until you see Windows Live,

click on this, then click on remove,

and thats it, the program will be removed from your computer.
