I really need someone to tell me how to get windows live messenger onto my memory stick, so that i can insert the stick and use messenger with no probs.

i dont know how to copy installations etc so that would be usefull to know if needed to get messenger on.

p.s i have asked this question loads and no one answers so can someone plz help.

You can't copy programs from your C drive to another location and you can't install them on a memory stick.

Programs need to have keys and values in Windows registry which resides in C:\Windows\System32\Config.

Programs install files to different folders on disk:

C:\Program Files

C:\Windows\System32

C:\Windows\System32\dllcache

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Local Settings

Hmmm, don't know if that's possible but you could try just selecting the USB key when installing the software.|||Because of the way that PCs are, you would have to install the messenger for each computer you plug it into. You can either:

a. Download the files needed to install the messenger onto the stick so that you can install it easily on the computer you're working with

b. Use the msn web messenger(http://webmessenger.msn.com/) which allows you to chat online through msn messenger without have to download or install anything.|||1 - Plug in ur memory stick

2 - Get onto windows messeger site

3 - hit download

4 - when it says select recuired path or summin click 'browse' or 'change' and select memory stick!

(mite not work if memory stik dnt have enough memory!)
