i recently got windows live messenger 8.5 beta and i cant fnd any version of messenger plus live that is compatible with it.

8.5 Beta has been released but please note that the early system requirements indicate minimal XP SP2.

A workaround has been published but a Messenger Plus posting asks that it not be used and that a fix will be coming soon.
