Installing Windows Live on Vista, need privileges?
My dad's computer is a Dell with Windows Vista Basic. I have tried to install Windows Live Messenger on it many times, and I've tried a few different versions, from the latest to 8.0 Beta. Every time I install it, it will go smoothly until it's -almost- done, then I get a message saying "Service 'Messenger Sharing USN Journal Reader service (usnsvc) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services." I chose "Ignore" on this error message, and another that came up. Installation finished, but I got the same error message when it went to do a repair, but all it told me to do was run it as administrator or something similar. What am I not doing, or what do I need to do, to get Messenger to install?

WARNING.turn it off ASAP because if malware gets onto your computer it also has administrative rights and can delete or install anything it wants to.|||To run it as an administrator just right click the installer and click run as administrator. It should be the second option down.
