Xbox 360 headset - Failure to charge?

My xbox 360 wireless headset is feailing to charge. I looked at microsoft support and it says things about an error message. I dont get an error message or flashing lights, I get not lights at all when charging. The headset still works though, it just wont charge.

Help appreciated

I would call Microsoft support to see if they have any solutions but if not see if they will replace it.
