Windows Media Player Error?
Error ID = 0xC00D11BA, Condition ID = 0x00000000
I'm attempting to play a video file with windows media player. Problem being, this computer has no sound. Personally I really don't care if there is sound or not, i just want to play the video. Is there a way to work around this error? Can I just set it to disable sound and go from there?
The microsoft support site has /nothing/ pertaining to this error, big suprise. */sarcasm*

Well, you can try to use a different player, like VLC Media Player ( http://www.videolan.org ). This plays about everything, sound or not.|||that error is generally caused by a corrupt installation of directx.
go over to microsoft.com/directx and download the latest verion (v9.xx) and try again after installing it
