My Xbox 360 recently displayed the "3 rings of death". I contacted Microsoft support and they are already sending me a box so that I can ship my console. However, a few months ago, my xbox, that was upright at the moment, fell over a little. It didn't completely fall over, just hit the side of my bookcase and left a little mark. I really don't think this mishap caused the "three ring problem", but I'm worried this will void the warranty.

Only obvious marks that show the system has been tampered with would void your warranty. That or if the silver Microsoft Void Label on the system behind the face plate is removed or cut or tampered with. If it was an unintentional mistake and it tipped over like you said, you shouldn't have any worries.

this will not void the warranty. my friend had a similar problem and they sent him a brand new xbox. no qeustions asked|||Cosmetic damage doesn't void your warranty. You should be just fine. :)|||to play it safe, i've put some video game related stickers on my xbox over some mysterious scuffs. i mean, the xbox even came with an xbox sticker. so , a little GA IV sticker on it wont hurt i bet. plus when you buy a guitar hero guitar, they come with tons of stickers.|||no it will have no effect if the xbox has a little scuffs and scratches on the outside unless the scuff is like a hole thought the center of your xbox then it might void your warreny a little lol but usually they dont ask questions|||light scratches wont void ur waranty.....
