File wont open in microsoft word! help!?windows media centerIt sounds like it was't saved completely when you closed it yesterday. Try opening it as a read-only file, and save it under a different name:
1.click File, and then click Open.
2.In the Look in list, click the drive, folder, or Internet location that contains the file you want to open.
3.In the folder list, locate and open the folder that contains the file.
4.Select the file you want to open a copy of. Click the arrow next to the Open button, and then click Open as Read-Only.
Unless you had the "Always save a backup copy" checked (and most people don't know to do that,) you won't have a backup copy, so you'll have to use the read-only copy.
