I have the old Msn Messenger 0.7. i have tried to install the new Windows Llive Messenger, the computer wont let me open it a file comes up saying illegal operation and closes down not letting me in please help

Uninstall it, reboot then reinstall it.

If that fails try live messenger 8.0.
