i tried to send an IM & got one of those messages about windows encountering a problem. & to send error report. then my messenger went off. when I clicked on to see report it said remove software that caused problem & that it was caused by My Web Search Tool Bar. created by my way. now this is what I need to know but explain simply to me as I'm not computer whizz. How do I remove thiss programme ? I went into my control panel & into add/remove & all I could find was My Web Search (smiley central) is this what I have to remove or is it something different all together.

ya dat should be to remove it. If u have any virus protection like Norton.after removing that program, scan ur comp w/ it to make sure u have no more viruses or errors. If u dont have any antivirus try disk defragmenter or disk cleanup it cleans ur recyling bin & some other unused files on ur comp.

I usually run disc cleanup once a week to remove unneccesary stuff
