Certain links or sites will not open on my computer. Some load as a blank white page. Im using windows xp home edition. I've tried adjusting the settings on internet options with no success. I've tried going to microsoft.com to reload internet explorer, but only get a blank white page when I click on the links. Any suggestions?

The first thing you should do is try to open up that page in another browser. For example if you're using IE try opening it with Firerox to see if it works there. If it still keeps happening then check the Java settings make sure you're allowing java scrips to show.
