I am having trouble with the performance of browsing. The thread referred here has lots of information and is a discussion between Microsoft and myself. They believe this is a Yahoo issue. I would like to know if others are having similar issues.

See this thread http://forums.microsoft.com/technet/Show... for lots of detail. I have been going back and forth with Microsoft on this issue. They believe it is an issue with Yahoo. The bottom line is, browsing is extremely slow. I believe there are dropped packets occuring causing TCP retransmissions and error recovery. I believe MS software is not recovering gracefully from these errors. But if packets are getting dropped through yahoo's network, or packets are out of order, this would effect the performance of my browsing and could possibly be the cause. Comments?

Have you tried mozilla firefox?

it hogs more ram but its faster.

where are you getting your internet connection from?

is the internet service provider reliable?
