i think a lot of people have had this problem not wanting it to connect. it took me a year...yes i said a year to figure it out.

but all you do is...1st get in to your linksys router. in the search bar where you type in website at. and enter 192.168.1.1/index.htm it will ask you for your password and user name by default it should be password: blank username: admin and then click on the tab that says (security) scroll down to where it says "filter multicast" and then click on where it says "Enabled" and then click on "save settings" and that should be it. you dont need to restart your router or anything. now if you have windows media player 11 if not (download it free) http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... If you want to share your music/videos.pictures. make sure you Enable "file sharing" on windows media player 11. look for the library tab and the little arrow below it click on that, and look for "media sharing" click on that.
