I have tried saving it to my computer, to then open it with movie maker, but it will only let me see the video on windows media player. It doesnt let me save it to the computer. Should i connect the camera to the computer and then upload it to movie maker? Any other advice? I'm kinda new at movie maker. By the way, the video is on a cd.
How do you get a video clip that you have recorded on a camera to windows movie maker to where you can edit itie 6Put the DVD into the computer. When a window comes up asking what you want to do it, click WIndows Explorer. Then, when the next window comes up, drag the file into My Documents, where it will save to your computer. This file however, probably won't be the right type to work with Windows Movie Maker. Google "Any Video Converter" and download. You can use this program to convert the video into the appropriate format.
Hope this helps!
