How on earth do you download video clips and be able to edit them on microsoft windows movie maker like all of the people on you tube do??????????? I have been trying to do it for months!!!!!! Everything I try just doesn't work!!!- can anyone help???

You can try going to www.keepvid.com and putting the address of your video in there, although you will have to convert the file into 'avi' or another recognisable movie format.

Once you have downloaded your chosen movie from www.keepvid.com, google for a 'flash movie' or '.flv' converter.

When you have the converted file, you can open it in windows movie maker and edit it how you wish.

I guess you have codec converting problem. Remember, Movie Maker only take wmv or wma or mp3 format. You need to do transcoding before import to movie maker.

Search web for any convert, like flv to wmv... For downloading, I recommend CyberFlash that download/record any clip.
