When I download it and press run, something comes up that says it isn't a valid win32 application.....well it says the whole c:documents blah blah blah is not a valid win32 application.

what the hell. Idk what this means...and i'm computer-retarded so does this just mean I'm stuck with the super old version of windows messenger?

Somehow YES.|||Try downloading again. Check the size specified against what it shows in your computer.|||Are you saving it from the download pop-up, or just opening it from there? Make sure you save it then run it from the directory you saved it in.|||1)most probably ur computer doesnot have enough space to download

2)or maybe there must b some software u have to download that ur computer needs for the messenger|||Windows will give you any message it can but not always the correct answer to the real problem,

I am continually working on my PC to keep running at peak performance I would run chkdsk/f in Command prompt and reboot windows will check your drive and fix any problems try this first and then you could try a restore if you have XP
