I love this new feature of Yahoo mail beta, but I can only chat with friends using Yahoo messenger, and not those on Windows Live Messenger - is this a fault that will be fixed?

Yahoo! Mail Beta is BETA so maybe in the future. (Beta means in the IT world as an unfinished/prototype product)

as they are two different companies and are in competition, you would encourange your friends to switch to Yahoo from Windows live.

However, if they merge together then they would not gain any customers.

Also yahoo does not want the advertisemnt of Msn and Windows messenger on yahoo answers, and if someone writes 'msn' in thier question, it would not come up on the main answering questions part.
