From time to time windows messenger signs me in automatically if I am not using windows live messenger. How can I stop this happening? I thought I had disabled it. Cheers.

well it should have sign in automatically either on the messenger just before you log in, or either in the setting somewhere.|||You should just be able to remove the old MSN messenger program. Therefore it won't load up automatically. As far as Im aware........the Window Live Messenger is not dependant upon the old MSN messenger, so just get rid of it, basically!|||two ways the first is go to start then go to run and type msconfig then click ok now go to the startup tab in this window and look for the program named msmsgs and click on the checkmark to make it disapear now click apply then click ok when the window saying restart or exit without restarting appears click on restart windows let your machine reboot it should be gone now or go to start control panel then go to add or remove programs and find msn messanger in the list and click on it then click on the change/remove button and uninstall it that is the other way to stop this problem|||I killed it forever!
