I am having trouble with my friends receiving emoticons. When i send them they appear on my screen but appear blank on there messenger?. I am using windows messenger 8.5 and my friends are using 8.1. I was trying to give 1 friend some emoticons as she dad just formatted her PC and wanted some to get her going but as i said above it wasn't possible.

if the emoticos are form a programme like smiley central your contacts can only see them when using the same programme
