Windows messenger live not showing!?

I installled the latest version of Windows live messenger from its site. After the installation, when I try to run it, it does not show up, neither on the monitor (desktop) nor on the taskbar. I have tried uninstalling, installing, rebooting with some other previous versions also but t no avail.

I use windows vista ultimate. Earlier about a month ago, it was working fine. I had stopped using it for sometime and now when I try to run it, the problem shows up.

It is shown as a running process in the Windows Task Manager.

Does anyone know how to solve this particular problem??

Restart your router (unplug/replug). That's how I fixed the exact same issue I was having. Cheers!
