I am faced with the message "Your computer does not support sharing folders". Also if I go to tools/options/sharing folders, in red is the same message. Can anyone tell me why this is and how I can solve it? I am using norton internet security 2006...? Could ths be a problem? How do I get this feature up and working!?

You have to download MSN Live Messenger again, and this time when it asks you whether you want to have the option of sharing folders, click the box.

Norton Anti-virus would not have anything to do with this situation.

no Norton will not be a problem as i don't recommend Norton as it is a terrible anti virus and antispyware as i do recommend its firewall try repairing the windows live messenger if this does not work try reinstalling the operating system (windows xp) if this does not work disable the Norton restart windows live messenger and hope that is does work -- sorry if it don't|||reinstall windows live messenger, ensuring you enable folder sharing
