Uh, don't follow those instructions... you're talking about the Windows Messenger keeps logging you in, right?

If that's the case, you do not want to delete anything. Simply go to the control panel, add/remove, but go to the windows components tab of the add/remove and uncheck the windows messenger, then you will only have msn messenger left

just delet all the stuff about msn in ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS at CONTROL PANEL and then download it again

i was having that problem 2 and that helped me!!!
