Trouble in installing Windows Live Messenger? Please help!?
I recently recovered my C drive for my Sony Vaio laptop. Now that everything has be wiped out from my C Drive... I have to resinstall my Windows Messenger Live. However, when I want to sign in... A message popped up saying that a newer version of WML is available and I need to install it to continue. So I clicked on Yes. But once it is installed, another message popped up sainyg that this version of WML cannot be used in anything earlier than Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Mine is Service Pack 1. I know. But before I recovered my C Drive, my WML works perfectly well!
Has anyone ever encountered this problem? Please help me...
I've tried changing to MSN Messenger 7.5 but that didn't work either...

When a drive is recovered, the computer may act different. So go and buy Service Pack 2. [It shouldn't be so pricey now since Visa is out. =])
