which ones should i get and not get they all come free with my laptop pre-installed, its a dell, i heard some take up a lot of space and slow the computer down.

keep adobe reader, its needed for some documents and keep microsoft works. get rid of mcafee its only a triel and it sucks anyway, and microsoft basics is pointless. if you want an antivirus get a free one called avg free antivirus.

Microsoft Works is crap... get the MICROSOFT OFFICE. That's the one that everyone has.

And get Adobe Acrobat Reader... PDF files are opened using that. So it's useful.|||1. Works is a scaled back version of Microsoft Office so if you already have Office, there is no need for it.

2. That would be a trial version of McAfee's firewall, antivirus, antispyware and Site advisor. If you choose to uninstall it you will need other security products once the subscription expires.
