I have the computer hooked in my bedroom. We have the cable attached to setup box and wireless router in there. In the living room we have the cable hooked to the television. I don't understand why, if the television and the internet are coming from the cables. (Both cable originate the same place), why the televsion setup won't work when I try to record programs on my Media Center, etc. Can someone tell me if there is a way to keep my computer in here, and my television in the LR and still have the television hook to the computer? Also, I would very much like to surf the internet on my big screen television. Is there an easy way to do that? There are several ports in the back of my television, but they are confusing. We have a surround sound, but we could only hook it to our DVD/VCR combo. It won't work with just the television. If anyone has time any time, would you please explain this to me? Thanks

Do you have a TV card in your PC? If you don't you CANNOT watch or record TV on your PC. This is NOT the same as your broadband cable.
