Why won't the software download for the Zune?

I bought a Zune and tried to download the software needed for it. I hit download and it came up with an error saying:

Installation Failed

Setup must stop because the required package "Zune" failed to install.

Custom Action 00:24:24.703: Operation "Remove Driver" has finished with result 0x80004005

DIFXAPP: Rollback failed with error 0x2.

Error code: 0x80004005

What should I do? Did I miss something? HELP!

I will give a 5 star answer and all the luck in the world to the person who can help me! Please! I am so frustrated.

Microsofts directions for finding the device are a little confusing. Do this instead. After connecting your Zune, go to Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>Portable Devices. That will get you to the point where you should see your Zune attached and if it has the yellow exclamation point. Then do what the other poster and Microsoft said. See if it works then.

Also try downloading and saving the software. Then install it. If the problem turns out to be with the download then update Windows Installer.
