Why does my mouse snap to the top right corner of my display?

I have two or three PCs on site where the users are complaining that thier mouse snaps to the top right corner of their display. I have checked the mouse setting and the snap to default location IS NOT ticked. Does anybody know what is causing this and how do I resolve it. I have tried Microsoft.com and couldn't find any answers there. many thanks.

Are you using optical mice? If yes check you dont have them running on a mat which is different colours or includes red a single colour mouse pad is best.

Different coloured pads can cause the mouse to lose tracking and the pointer will jump from its current location to a new one usally the edge of the screen.

the wires in the mouse connecting to the control chip are kinda loose or worst cut off'ed this particular problem always occur to cafe's due to stress and always been stretched.. The only solution is by getting a new one.|||I think you are using a optical mouse. if you use contrast colour mouse pad or something like that then the mouse will snap like this. So use any white colour pad or paper.|||if you have an optical mouse, try changing the pad with one monochrome. The colors makes the mouse crazy.
