I've tried updating at microsoft.com and that did not help. I went to the javascript website and downloaded some updates and that did not help either.

this may help: go to STAR/CONTOL PANEL/ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS/SET PROGRAM ACCESS & DEFAULTS/CUSTOM ---- now scroll down and see if you have it enabled. also make sure every other thing you need is checked and do a restart.
