It seems this url has hijacked internet explorer. My default homepage is yahoo.com but when I click Internet Explorer it defaults to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloa... How can I stop this page from loading?

Something may have gone haywire in your system. Just try resetting your home page in your internet options. You might also want to run your virus scanner to be on the safe side.
