I got a new laptop kinda slow for me, i was wondering any suggestions to make it go faster

System Specs:

Windows Vista Home Basic

MOBILE AMD Sempron Processor 3500+

480 MB Ram

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100

kinda dumb question: can i install xp powertoys on a vista?

The minimum requirement for Vista Basic is 512 MB of RAM and you're a little short. To get it run faster you need to have around 1GB of RAM for the Vista Basic. You can also try to turn off all unnecessary services on your PC and disable some startup programs. There are plenty of sites that can show you how. Powertoys just may work on Vista but i would not recommend it.
