X: ( replace x: with ur CD drive's letter)

Type "Dir" ( without quotes")

for more commands type "Dir/?" and press "enter" from keyboard

put the disk in

cd to correct cdrom drive, if u don know try it all

cd d:

cd e:

cd f:

...

if it doesn't come back with an error and it's not your hard drive , type dir|||Do you mean you want to view your CD contents via the DOS prompt? If so, assuming D is your CD drive...

cd D:

dir|||Did you need to post this three times?|||CD is Change Directory (in a drive).

if you want to get your CD Rom, eg. your Cd-Rom is in D:\ drive, you must use command like this :

D:|||copy *.* g: <youdrivename>:
