i cant see that part : http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/5184/... while im using internet explorer and also when i save a file(picture) from a web site its saved as .bmp file!!! what shall i do ? i have deleted internet temporary files many times and it didnt worked!! :/

There is an alternative way.

Right click and Save as .bmp in My Picture. Open it with Paint and then go to save as then choose .jpeg.

in IE click View and tick status bar.

If you go to google and search for images

find an image and right click on it

chose save as

in the save as pop up you have two fields at the bottom

1 field invites you to name it

2 the other field has an arrow so you can select the file type.|||yeah, that's the "status bar" that you can't see, probably just have to re-enable it (nice handwriting btw...! lol )

anyway, about the images:

When you right-click on the image and select "Save as..." out of the menu the "Save" dialog box should come up. At the bottom of that dialog there should be a little "Save as type" and a drop-down menu. In the drop-down menu you should be able to select to save as different file-type.
