first my internet explorer was shutting down. then i downloaded safari and that did too. now every1 on here told me to download firefox and now that shuts down. every time i go to do something it shuts down. just now i tried to turn off the safe search on google bcuz i was searching for funny videos and they all usually blocked. i'm not sure if its a program or parental controls. any1 have any idea what i can do. btw it does it on my sister's computer too. i'm running windows xp sp2 and so is she.

If all 3 browsers are doing the same thing (dont know exactly what you mean by 'shutting down'), look at common windows areas such as your HOSTS file. You are probably infected with some kind of malware. Check out the link below for a quick checklist to remove most...including checking your HOSTS file in step 8.
