I must have ticked the box on the bottom to auto close after download, how do I undo that so that I have the option to open the file?
IE - Download closes when finished instead of showing options, How do I change it?internet explorer download
tools/internet options/advanced
IE - Download closes when finished instead of showing options, How do I change it?windows xp internet explorer
find a big download and when it starts un-check the box|||ok try to download a big file... while downloading that.. u can see the window on the scree... then u can untick the option and now when it is finished it will not close....
better use download accelerator plus... its far better than the IE downloader...|||Internet explorer, Tools, Internet Options, advanced tab and the check the box that states "Notify when downloads complete"
that will bring it back.|||now if you wanna open the downloaded file, you may search it by using the search option available in Windows or if u have downloaded the file with the help of DAP or any other software go to the list of downloaded items & then u may load your downloaded file.Or another way is that:
Internet explorer- Tools- Internet Options-advanced tab and the check the check box displaying "Notify when downloads complete"|||Open IE. Go to Tools on the menu bar and choose Internet options. Follow the signs,,;-)=
