I click on the IE link and it opens for 3 seconds then automatically

closes. Any suggestions on how to repair? I did a systems restore

and it didn't help.

Does your IE work for the rest of the Internet? If so, it is probably an issue with the current page. If it is a popup window that closes, it is either because of Javascript or you have a popup blocker enabled. Try disabling it (or allowing access for the site). For some, you can hold Ctrl and click the link and it will allow the popup to open.

If it is not a popup or you know it is not a popup blocker, and it is only for a single link, it may be Javascript coding for the site itself and not related to IE at all.

If you think it is your Internet Explorer itself that is malfunctioning, then try the following.

Which version IE u are using. Do you have popup blocker..then check the options.
