IE won't stop being my default?
I use Firefox and I want links and hotmail etc, to open up in Firefox, but it wont. I've changed my default to Firefox, and everything still automatically opens in IE. Is this possible to fix, or just the way it was made?

Open up your Control Panel, go to Internet Options, then Programs. On this (it's grayed on mine right now, I'm at work) there should be an option that will let you uncheck IE as the default browser.

It also depends on what program is opening the links. For example, MSN is by Microsoft and so it wants people to use internet explorer. If you open your email inbox with MSN Messenger it will automatically open IE no matter what. Otherwise, if all links are still opening in IE, you should set IE to default, then go back and set Firefox back to default. This should fix the little registry problem you're having with defaults.
