If I understand your question, do you mean when you open IE, you want to be able to just click a button on a toolbar and access your Yahoo! mail? My Yahoo! toolbar has Mail listed. Maybe your toolbar isn't expanded enough. If you click on the big red Y, the drop down box should show you Mail. Also, when you have your messenger open, you can have it take you directly to your mailbox.

Now if you're talking about going to the start menu and then going to yahoo, I also have the option of selecting mail from that menu. You can also create a shortcut on your desktop to be able to go directly to your yahoo mail.
